Do you know those fabrics for making baseball caps?

    Claire Aung Crown 2020-01-14 17:11:07
The fabric of the baseball cap is divided into: cotton, polyester-cotton, polyester (chemical fiber), all-nitrile, wool-nitrile, cotton-linen, nylon (nylon) and so on. Cotton: such as yarn card, canvas, poplin. Polyester cotton: such as yarn card, canvas, poplin. All polyester: such as peach skin, Chun Yafang, polyester card, etc.

So do you like wearing cotton, polyester cotton or polyester (chemical fiber) hats? In fact, these types have their own advantages and disadvantages. Although there are many fabrics for baseball caps, they are still mainly cotton, and cotton The fabric is mainly cotton yarn card and canvas.

Of course, some people will use PU leather, deerskin, corduroy and so on in pursuit of fashion. Some high-end luxury brands still use wool. Wool has better anti-fouling properties, but wool's water absorption and breathability are not as good as cotton, and the cost is relatively high.
So let's take a look at the advantages and disadvantages of the three fabrics we commonly use. Let's talk about the advantages and disadvantages of cotton fabrics first.
100% cotton refers to clothes or supplies with 100% cotton content. Generally it is plain cloth, poplin, twill, labor cloth, etc. It is different from ordinary cloth in that it has the advantages of deodorization, breathability and comfort. Try not to use washing powder. Good use of transparent soap.

Advantages: easy warmth, soft fit, good moisture absorption, and good air permeability.
Disadvantages: easy to shrink, easy to wrinkle, not very stiff in appearance.

Let's talk about polyester-cotton. Polyester-cotton is a collective name for polyester and cotton blended fabrics. Textiles made of 65% -67% polyester and 33% -35% cotton blended yarns are commonly known as "really good." It is a common material for making clothes.
Advantages of polyester cotton: It not only highlights the style of polyester, but also has the advantages of cotton fabrics. It has good elasticity and abrasion resistance in dry and wet conditions. Quick-drying feature, cannot be soaked in high temperature ironing and boiling water.

Disadvantages of polyester cotton: The polyester fibers in polyester cotton are hydrophobic fibers. They have a strong affinity for oil stains and are easy to absorb oil stains. They are also prone to static electricity and dust during the wearing process. . Polyester cotton is a synthetic fiber and cannot be degraded.
Finally, let's talk about polyester. Polyester is an important variety in synthetic fibers and the trade name of polyester fibers in China. It is a fiber-forming polymer made from refined terephthalic acid (PTA) or dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) and ethylene glycol (MEG) as raw materials through esterification or transesterification and polycondensation-- Polyethylene terephthalate (PET), a fiber made by spinning and post-treatment.

Polyester advantages: performance has good strength, smooth and stiff, easy to wash and dry.
Disadvantages of polyester: hard feel, poor touch, soft gloss, poor breathability, and poor moisture absorption.
In summary, personally I think it is better to choose cotton, because wearing a hat in the summer is comfortable and breathable, and it is necessary to absorb sweat without odor.
